Effetto Tatangelo?

Back for good

Styling Catherine Newell-Hanson
Scarpe e accessori: Carolina Amato, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, Christian Louboutin, Cesare Paciotti, Versace.
VICTORIA'S SECRETS - Take a look at this exclusive footage from the latest V Magazine, it is dedicated to the fall / winter Victoria Beckham Collection with a lookalike model. Usually I don't like celebrity fashion lines but this is totally different from the others, don't you think the same? In or Out?

Going out of the frying pan into the fire I will challenge you to talk about Beckhams in underwear with their tonic bodies tangled in ropes vessel. Anyone in front of these pics immediately think "how have tanned their hair?". The attention is immediately caught by that sort of corvine hairpiece on the head of David while the poor Victoria boasts a tail ethnic worthy of more noble Queen of the marshes. And where did the charm and sensuality of Posh'n'Becks? Despite the harmony of marriage these photos convey little passion. He seems to think "Was the right decision leave Milan?” And Posh "I hope the nanny stays a little bit more so I can go to Hermés for a new Birkin!".

MERCI, KARL - Even if Chanel has always been careful with female fashion in the show for its 2010 cruise collection in Venice there have been several male outfits. What do you think 'bout them? I'm already wishing to have some of them in my closet!

Crederci sempre, arrendersi mai

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND NEVER GIVE UP - You can love her or hate, there are no half measures when you think about the Queen of the Italia television, the personification of a national network (Rai Due) to a woman with the "W". Simona Ventura is undoubtedly the greatest expression of women's comeback after years of enveloped mute showgirl, anti De Filippi par excellence (as compared a cream bignè with a Galletta of rice), the Diva who likes to provoke and fascinate the men with succinct outfits (from Dolce & Gabbana’s Era to the latest DSquared2, Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferrè) but with her plauteaux still well planted on the ground. Ms Chivasso not disdain to engage in more projects (many of them of incredible success): champion of audience with “Celebrity Survivor” and “Quelli che il calico”, excellent talent scout in X Factor (do you know Giusy Ferreri?), fashion designer with her own brand of casual suits Star Chic, actress in a comedy of Enrico Oldoini "La fidanzatà di papò" featuring Massimo Boldi and author of the biography "Crederci sempre, arrendersi mai" published by Mondadori. Despite the intense life Super Simo does not neglect her role as a single mother after the divorce from football player Stefano Bettarini. The national press strays news and rumors about her private life (many of which are fruit of imagination) so for her 44th birthday Simona decided to grant an exclusive interview to Vanity Fair with a cover / portfolio by Ellen von Unwerth. Love her or hate her, she will continue on her way with head high and back straight. Happy Bithday SuperSimo!

A voi l'ardua sentenza.

Very Victoria
VERY VICTORIA - After the stunning Madonna for Vuitton and the glamorous Kate Moss for Versace here I can announce the winner for the best ad: Victoria Beckham for Emporio Armani Underwear! I don't think she is too this, her body is instead well toned and the setting reminds me to Loren's classic movies! King Giorgio couldn't choos a better ambassador for his Underwear collection. And don't forget the fact that David Beckham is again the face for Emporio Armani Underwear; in the pic above with Victoria too! When 2 become 1...5 gennaio 2009
SWEETHEART GIRL - I thought there could not be a campaign more interesting than the one of Madonna for Louis Vuitton, I was wrong. Once again Versace leaves the mark with these wonderful shots by Mario Testino that immortalize a Kate Moss more fascinating than ever. The Spring / Summer 2009 collection that Donatella Versace presented last autumn has, alongside the historic Medusa logo, a cascade of hearts cut and printed on fine fabrics. Even the less solar colors are illuminated by shiny and precious stones, especially on accessories. As soon as I can I will add more pics, even of the other testimonial: Gisele Bundchen! For the men's collection should be re-confirmed the American actor Patrick Dempsey, star of the show Grey's Anatomy, now reached his third campaign for Versace. Happy new LV Year!

HAPPY NEW LV YEAR! - In times of crisis some fresh news welcome these cold winter days. That genius of Marc Jacobs, artistic director of the Maison Vuitton, has two large previews of his spring / summer collection. After Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johansson and Catherine Denevue another superstar is going to represent the much-loved fashion house, but this time it was even more great, the top of the top, the best of the best, the last DIVA: Madonna! The Material girl puts herself back into play and, to celebrate her 50, here are the first pics by Steven Meisel. The malicious (and envious) are thinking about abundant doses of Photoshop, but if it was, the result is nothing short of excellent. The surprises are not finished here, the American designer has decided to pose himself to present the new Monogram Neon Graffiti collection which resumed cooperation with the metropolitan artist Stephen Sprouse (who died in 2004, and which Rizzoli will edit the catalog “The Stephen Sprouse Book”). The photos of Terry Richardson for Harper's Bazaar perfectly illustrate the will to make look younger the most famous monogram of the world. I can't wait for S/S ads on magazines! http://www.harpersbazaar.com/magazine/feature-articles/marc-jacobs-exposed-louis-vuitton-it-bag-0109 http://www.style.com/stylefile/2008/12/marc-shares-sprouse-love-with-the-world-wide-web/

Back to black
In passerella: Sessilee Lopez (Missoni), Jourdan Dunn (Versace), Lakshmi Menon (Max Mara), Nedege (Dsquared2), Chanel Iman (Gucci).
BACK TO BLACK - This summer I looked to the special issue of Vogue Italia dedicated to black beauty, a project intended by the director Franca Sozzani and realized with the photographer Steven Meisel to bring attention to the black models. In addition to admire the many editorial portraying the eternal Iman, tv star Tyra, the ubiquitous Naomi and many others, I read the little essay by Robin Givhan (first fashion journalist winner of the Pulitzer Prize for criticism in 2006, she works for Washington Post). I carryover salient parts that are also well my point of view. "The black beauty will receive attention for a month and the rest will be reserved for the white girls? [...] How many black girls are there in catwalk? Not enough. The trend of fashion change as the tide, but high Tide of black models seems to be really long time ago. Their absence is a sad anomaly. [...] The beauty is power. And if the fashion world provides a definition of beauty, in fact establish who has power and who did not. [...] The designers, in the seasons in which they are inspired by the Masai culture, hip-hop or jazz filled the parades of black girls. They know to be politically correct. But if the issue of parade is not ethnic, but sexy, minimalist or architecture the black models do not work anymore. [...] This is disconcerting because black women - and men - were well inserted in other aspects of popular culture. The music that accompanies the fashion shows was recorded and produced by black artists such as Beyoncé, Prince, Kanye West, Rihanna. It is likely that the first rows are dotted by these celebrities, they were offered a flight, first class hotel and hospitality by heads of state. On the red carpet, artists like Halle Berry help to promote the image of the designer. So, in the fashion world black actors and musicians are respected and honored, why not the same happens with the models? [...] Designers like to think of themselves as artists, but what painter use to with just a few shades of color? " Despite this piece dates back nearly three months ago is worth reflecting on the power of publishing, the July issue of Vogue Italia has been re-printed and translated into English to be sold in the U.S. market following a whirlwind of curiosity that has invested blogs and online forums, international press (and not) has devoted much attention to this "growing awareness" and the result of all the fuss has come in recent days in Milan. Never before like this year fashion week have seen many black on the catwalks of Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Versace, Moschino, Ferragamo and many others. Simple coincidence? I believe rather that when a problem is dealt with attention from the authoritative source is impossible to remain deaf. Congratulations then to the entire editorial staff of Vogue Italia for raising a thorny issue so far mention other titles (Anna Wintour who?).

THE VANITY OF OLYMPICS - Despite the parade for the official opening of 2009 Olympic Games is coming I have not yet decided whether or not this year follow the long-awaited sports. The event itself is certainly worthy of note, what is holding me is that some have labeled "Tibet issue". I'm not there to give audience to a demonstration in a country where values and human rights are still in a very. Certainly political appeal and (especially!) China's economic is currently the highest levels, whole industries depend on the workforce made in China (not least the Fashion), but precisely for this reason I believe that those who manage to achieve certain international goals should have a duty share them with all their people by ensuring freedom of speech and opinion to anyone. Beijing has been redesigned and cleaned, pulled a slide to seduce and surprise the whole world, but what about the thousands of humble people who live in villages scattered throughout the vast territory of the Rising Sun? They won’t have any benefit because of this Olimpics, and delivered cups and medals, they will return to putting the cart like nothing had happened while in town other skyscrapers will be inaugurated! To to defuse the public situation here it comes this interesting editorial that sees the american actress (of Oriental origin) Lucy Liu immortalized by Peter Lindbergh taken from the last issue of American Harper's Bazaar while she wears beautiful Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Gucci, Armani Privè, Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati, Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera creations. http://www.harpersbazaar.com/fashion/fashion-articles/lucy-liu-fashion-olympics-0808?click=main_sr
